Attendance will be taken as discussed below, along with following the school procedure of attendance by submitting it to the office after double checking. After the children are all seated before we start the day I will double check by doing an out loud roll call for attendance.

When children enter the classroom I will have an interactive attendance chart on the smart board. Students will form a line as they enter and click/drag their name on the attendance chart, and then head to their desk. Example of an attendance chart is shown below.

Children will line up in front of the board and click on their apple. This will signify “eating” the apple as it disappears.
